Electronic Checks

Most of the work in the R&D department consists of implementing specific electronic, electrical, and communications checks.

Checks of short circuits, impedance measurements, frequency pass bands, dielectric strength, switching point, writing to eproom with LIN, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and ETHERNET protocols are present in all machines for home appliances, automotive button panels, and electrical motors.

Electrical continuity tests are fundamental tests for checking that component traces and pinouts are made according to the electrical diagram requested.

Electrical insulation checks apply thousands of volts to test that the conductive parts are electrically insulated in order to avoid unwanted flows of current when activated by hand.
These tests can also be conducted after the component is assembled to check that design specifications have been respected.

Testing current absorption or resistance values is done to test electrical components with the main characteristic to absorb a given current or a current not above a preset limit.
