It is more and more frequent for one or more inspection stations to be inserted at the end of Camas assembly lines for controlling correct assembly, from a functional standpoint as well as an aesthetic/finishing standpoint.
The systems installed on Camas machines are part of the “end-of-line test” (EOL) category, and are capable of simulating, measuring and validating the mechanical and/or electrical characteristics of the produced pieces and their functions.
In addition, Made in Camas vision systems perform aesthetic/finishing controls on the final result of the assembly phase.
The systems can recognize defects, stains, and incorrect dimensions from 0.01 mm up. Identifying, selecting, and reading codes and characters derived from the previous processes (for example, silk screen printing), data matrices or bar-codes are requirements of most machines.
